Correspondence Course for LLB

Law has always been a very popular subject for students who do their schooling from commerce and humanities streams. However with the advent of distance learning these courses have become even more famous and there is always a large number of students pursuing law from all sorts of different universities, all across the world.
There are a number of courses in the Law stream like LLB and LLM that can be pursed online. The duration of the course varies from three and four years for the LLB course to three years for the LLM course.
While the LLB course is divided into eight semesters, the subjects that are studied during the course are Sociology, Criminal Law, History, Economics, Law and Poverty, Administrative Law and Political Science.
Each of the subjects has a semester end examination and people are promoted only when they clear these exams. During the distance course you have the option to interact with teachers on the internet and then study with the reference material that is provided with the course.
The admission to these courses is done on the basis of entrance tests and the examining subjects vary according to the stream of the students giving the exam.
This course has great potential and is very much favored in job interviews as any Law degree complements your educational qualifications highly and improves your selections in various multinational companies, since almost all the companies have their legal department and a perquisite knowledge about it helps in building a bright future for the company.
However there is a word of caution. With the growth of education industry many institutes and small universities have opened up, as a result there can be a chance that of fake or unregistered universities. These might you more then they will benefit, hence one should always check the authenticity of the degree and the college.
